Lifetime Warranty
Emeluxe™ provides lifetime warranty coverage for hardware products purchased directly through Emeluxe™. The coverage and exclusions below apply to Emeluxe™ purchases and are administered through Emeluxe™ customer support.
Lifetime mechanical warranty
The mechanical warranty covers defects in the mechanical operation of the hardware under normal residential use for the lifetime of the purchaser.
Lifetime finish protection
Finish protection covers premature wear from normal indoor use for the lifetime of the purchaser.
Finish coverage exclusions
Finish coverage does not include:
- Scratches or abrasions
- Misuse
- Improper cleaning
- Exposure to harsh chemicals
- Outdoor or exterior use, except for the House Address Numbers coverage described below
- Normal changes in color or patina over time
House Address Numbers
House Address Numbers have a product-specific exception: their lifetime finish warranty covers exterior use. This exception applies only to House Address Numbers and does not extend exterior finish coverage to other products.
How to make a warranty claim
Email support@emeluxe.com with the product name and a description of the issue. Emeluxe™ may request proof of purchase and additional information reasonably needed to review warranty eligibility, and may inspect the product before approving a claim.
Approved claims will be repaired or replaced at Emeluxe™'s discretion. Emeluxe™ will provide the next steps after reviewing the claim.
Products purchased elsewhere
These terms apply to products purchased directly through Emeluxe™. If you purchased through another retailer, please contact that retailer and refer to the warranty terms on its website.
