Great Hinges. A bit on the pricey side but extremely well made, heavy duty and aesthetically appealing. I decided to cut my deck railing and convert it to gates, so that i can open the railing and have a better view. (see enclosed pic). these hinges were used to provide the swinging action on the railing that was converted to swinging gates. Great product.

These Mega Handles hinges offer excellent quality, durability, and appearance. The satin nickel finish looks professional and complements modern home decor nicely. Each hinge feels solid due to the heavy-duty stainless steel construction. They open and close smoothly and quietly, which adds to their overall premium feel.

Installation is straightforward, but the included screws are somewhat shorter than ideal. I suggest replacing them with longer wood screws if you're securing these to wood beams to ensure stronger holding power, especially for heavier doors. Apart from this minor drawback, the hinges themselves perform reliably and enhance the overall look of the doors.

While the quality is very high, the price seems slightly higher than similar products from competitors. Nevertheless, the overall craftsmanship and attractive style justify the cost for those seeking premium door hardware.

Overall, I highly recommend these hinges due to their attractive appearance, solid construction, and smooth operation.

I haven't installed these yet - they open and close VERY smoothly out of the box, and they're made out of nice, thick metal. There is no round pin to stick out - that mechanism is all enclosed to the hinge itself. Installation should be a breeze as these seem to be designed to not require being recessed into the door and the frame.

These are super heavy duty. They are extra thick and have some of the smoothest motion I've ever seen. Very well balanced so they aren't heavy either. Worked great for making a stair tread with an electrical box underneath accessible by making so that the tread can flip open.

The MEGA HANDLES - Square Barrel Stainless Steel Hinges are very durable, heavy-duty high-quality hinges. They come with the hardware to install them. I have included a photo of everything included in photo 1 for review. They hinges came very well wrapped and packed to ensure the hinges are in perfect condition when they arrive. They move to open and close them with precision and with no sound that I could hear.

I ordered the hinges to install a gate on my outdoor deck. It is a heavy gate, and I am waiting for help to install the gate that is a two-person installation due to the weight of the gate. I am confident these hinges are sufficient to support the gate. The hinges are slim when closed and they have a very attractive, high-quality stainless-steel finish.

I took off one star because I feel the price is higher than other heavy-duty hinges and the value could be better in my opinion.

In sum, the hinges are clearly heavy duty, high quality, attractive hinges and I am very happy with the hinges.

They are expensive, but probably worth it. Many people overlook door hinges and don't realize how visible they are from the inside. These are hinges you can be proud to show off. They measure 0.15 inch in thickness and have a modern, squared-off look that exudes quality. Because of the thickness, you will need to chisel or route a deeper mortise to fit them.

First, let me say these are very nice hinges and feel pretty heavy duty. There is a substantial weight to them that inspires confidence in their functionality. I can't tell anything about the pin through the knuckles and that would be the only potential point of failure, but going by the way the hinge plates are made I expect the pin to be of equally high quality. Without a scale handy and just going by weight in hand I would almost bet these hinges are close to 2 lb each to give you an idea of truly how heavy duty they are. Every edge is squared off and the matte black paint is immaculate. These are extremely nice, to the point that I would brag on them like I never thought I would brag on hinges. I'm going to use these on a fairly heavy lid for a wooden box and have no doubt they will perform admirably. So the question is, why only four stars? Well, as I'm reviewing, these are about $90 for the set, and that just seems high to me even for the quality that they are, so I had to knock a star for value. If money is no object, I would get these in a heartbeat. I got them through Amazon's Vine program, so free to me in return for my review. Just another tidbit I'll mention that really didn't affect my review but I think is worth noting is that the screws that come with these hinges are sheet metal screws, which I did find a bit odd. Regardless of that, these are a solid four stars from me and if I ignored the price and considered only quality and not value, these would be a solid, I mean solid, five stars. Beautiful hinges, and that is a phrase I never thought I would say.

Replaced several interior door hinges with these during a renovation and they performed exactly as expected.

If you need basic black square corner hinges for interior doors, these do the job well.

This set is a pack of 3 door hinges with square corner. I can tell from the weight alone that they are heavy duty. The kit already includes screws for them. Installation with straightforward with out new door as they fit the pre-cut templates. The hinges move smoothly and quietly and it looks better than the older hinges that we have. It only comes in two colors of matte black and satin nickel, which is fair as these two are the most popular colors. For the price range, it is certainly on the premium end but the quality does make up for it.

I am highly satisfied with the product. The build quality is exceptional, and the hinges offer smooth and quiet rotation. The installation process was straightforward and uncomplicated. I am extremely pleased with the product and highly recommend it.

These hinges are perfect for any large heavy doors you may be installing. The build quality is super sturdy on the hinges themselves. They look pretty sleek and low profile and don't sqeak or anything out of the box. I did throw in some WD40 as a preventative measure after testing it though. No problems after a week of slamming the door closed.

These are some quality hinges. The are heavy and durable and I love the matte black color. They were easy to install and look great. Obviously they are on the pricey side, but if you are looking for an elegant look and good function, then you know what you are looking for. They are definitely not a bargain, but that's not why you are looking at these right now is it?

These are very high quality hinges - a little pricey but I think you're getting what you pay for here. I don't see any official numbers for how heavy your door can be on these hinges, but if I had to make a guess you could probably get a door on here that's more than 100 LBs if you felt the need to do so. In my case, the door is only about 50 pounds and it swings and closes like a charm. These are very easy to work with and the overall machining is quite something to behold. Crisp edges, screw holes look very well done. Bravo to the quality control on these.

for this size, they are so heavy duty. got a solid weight with plenty of surface area to hold up heavy material. a two pack with included screws, this is on the pricey side and for good reason, these are well machined high quality hinges that are built for the long haul

These are quality built. They are thick and pretty heavy duty. For the size of the hinges, I'd like to see the screws a bit longer due to the heftiness of the hinges themselves. They look good too. I do personally think the price point is a bit steep for a set of 3 hinges. I hope they last a lifetime because I wouldn't want to drop the cash on another set.

Swapped out some old squeaky hinges for these and I’m honestly impressed. The matte black finish looks clean and sharp, and the square corners give everything a more modern feel. They feel heavy-duty in the best way—not bulky, just solid.

These are very sturdy hinges! They will be capable of supporting a good solid door (or folding outfeed table for my table saw in my case). Hinges are well built. Powder coating is even and clean looking. Square pivot joints are a nice alternative from the traditional round joints. Hinge pins are have a hex head and can be removed for cleaning or lubrication. If you are looking for sturdy hinges with the the square pivot look these are quite nice.

These are heavy duty hinges which are great for a solid-core door. They have a handsome/stylish look. They come with 1" self drilling metal screws, which is a bit of an odd choice since I'm not sure how many people have metal door frames, but they do the trick nonetheless. Personally, I prefer 2" or longer screws for use in installs, but they are very functional and work well. I do think they are a bit overpriced for what they are, however if this is the specific style you are looking for, then you won't be disappointed.

Ever get something that's so perfect exactly as it is that you think someone trying to improve upon it might just mess it up? These hinges are that kind of perfect.
First, they're heavy. They're also the best looking hinges I've ever seen for a door. Okay, my fancy brass butterfly hinges are cool, but those are intended as a decorative item. These are utilitarian.
Huh? Utili-what? Oh, no, I have to find a place where these will be SEEN. They're too cool for all of my doors, but I guess we'll all just have to step up our game, because door hardware and my aesthetics 'round he' are elevating.
Highly recommended. Once you have one out of it's slot in the foam block and the (also perfect) shrink wrap removed, I wholeheartedly believe you'll be as pleased I am. It's a sleek, modern, minimalist, industrial hardware style, but it's also good with all kinds of different styles, because hardware is supposed to be "hard"ware.
It's also easier to cut the recess for a square hinge plate. I don't even need a router. Just a saw and a chisel. Simpler.
Nice doors aren't cheap. Why would I put ugly old hardware on a really nice door when I can have these?

I was looking to replace the old, rusted hinges on my bathroom door and came across these on Amazon. The price caught my attention, so I decided to give them a try. When they arrived, I noticed they’re a bit heavier than the standard hinges you’d typically find in local hardware stores, which seemed promising at first.
However, after installing them, I have to say they perform just like regular hinges nothing special in terms of function. At $80 for just three hinges, the price really doesn’t make sense. They’re simply not worth it when you compare them to other options out there. For that price, you’d expect something exceptional, but these just don’t justify the cost

I like the design on these. Being the size they are, getting some cutouts was a bit harder for the recess, but worth it.

They're pretty heavy duty for hanging standard home doors. I wouldn't use them for anything wild and heavy outside.
I do NOT think they're worth the price they're at. Just feels a bit steep for a hinge, regardless of how heavy duty it is.

Black hardware is my personal favorite so they look really nice too.
The square barrel is unique and adds a nice touch.
Use your own screws if you have them.
