I had to read the instructions with a magnifying glass and the drill bit size specified was not correct. I just used the appropriate size drill bit to get the insert into the floor and added wood glue for extra hold. Solid as a rock.

Installation was easy, the size is perfect. It looks so cute and modern while staying out of the way but protecting my wall from the door hitting it.

These appear to be well made, they feel heavy and solid. They were easy to install and look quite beautiful compared to what you usually see. Very pleased.

I am really impressed with the quality of this stopper. It is weighty and feels very durable. The size is perfect for where I need it in my laundry room. I dont have a picture of it installed as we are still working on remodeling it, but I do have similar stoppers throughout my house. The only difference is this one only has the bumper ring to where it has to remain vertical and the others have the same ring and then one more piece of rubber on the top, so it can be attached to the wall. Where I am installing this one, I prefer it on the floor as it will be protecting my cabinets from the door. These are easy installs and great stability if installed correctly. Functionality is as it would seem... stops doors from banging into other things- does its job. Great value for the price and will be getting a couple more in the future.

I've gotten three different versions of this style of door stopper. This one is heavy and well made. I particularly like the ribs on the circumference of the cylindrical door stop. It's a detail not found in other models that I think really elevates the look of this one. The top has a subtle brushed finish, which you can only really see when it catches the light the right way. I think that also looks pretty nice.

Installation is easy. You unscrew the top of the unit from the bottom. The bottom half is hollow with a hole in the bottom. An included screw then screws into the floor. Depending on your own floors, you may want a different screw in order to make sure you screw through to the subfloor. If you have concrete floors, then you may need to pre-drill and use the included screw sleeve.

This unit is 2" tall, which I think is a more versatile height able to be used with more exterior doors which are likely to have a raised threshold, but you should make sure to measure your own doors to be sure.

This is the best looking doorstop I’ve ever seen. When I brought it to a friends home who has doors that don’t necessarily stay open easily, they were were very impressed with the look of it. From a design and looks perspective. It’s a 10.

It’s only 2 inches high and an inch wide so it’s not as large as it looks in the photos. (Attaching a photo of the item next to a standard teabag for reference.)

I will not be screwing it to the floor because I want to use it for multiple doors and even for travel, but the challenge is that it’s not very heavy and some interior doors will overpower it.

The installation and tools to do that is very straightforward. This would be easy to install.

This is the prettiest door stop I've ever seen. It's like a piece of jewelry for the floor! I love the knurling on the sides, elevating the look. And the gold color with the black silicone ring is so elegant. It screws right into the floor, so be prepared for that. It will look beautiful in your multimillion dollar mansion—protecting your walls and paintings from being knocked by your heavy doors adorned with fancy Mega handles! 👏 Mine came with a bit of bubbling underneath (see my photos) so I'm hoping that is not an indicator that the gold color will flake off over time. I have other things by Mega and they are all exceptional quality, so I expect this will last and stay beautiful for a long time. It certainly is beautiful!

Nice quality - heavy and sturdy. Looks better than the previous door stopper which was attached to the door hinge.

This matte black doorstop is knurled across most of the surface. Knurling is a metalworking process that creates textured patterns—like straight lines, angled grooves, or crisscrossed diamonds—on the surface of a material, typically cylindrical parts like this doorstop. The doorstop can be screwed into the floor to protect the walls from damage caused by doorknobs and other hardware. All hardware for affixing the doorstop is included in the box.

You will need to drill a hole in the floor (and optionally place a metal anchor) to permanently affix the doorstop with the heavy-duty screw included in the kit. The top of the doorstop unscrews to expose the chamber for the installation of a screw. Once you have screwed it into the floor, putting the top back on the doorstop will hide all installation hardware.

The doorstop is very modern-looking, and the knurling is just that extra touch to make an ordinary piece of hardware exquisite. It is small, approximately 1" in diameter and 2" tall, but it weighs half a pound! Tiny, but mighty! LOL

Install easy! Doors the job can’t complain

I ended up returning this floor door stopper, but the return was entirely due to my own oversight and not because of any issue with the product itself. It was simply too small for my particular application, and I hadn't paid close enough attention to the measurements before ordering.

That said, after seeing it in person, I was impressed with the quality. The solid brass construction felt sturdy and durable, and it had a nice weight to it. It definitely appeared to be a well-made product that should hold up well over time.

I also appreciated that it came with the necessary installation hardware for mounting it to the floor, making installation straightforward.

My advice to prospective buyers is simple: carefully review the dimensions before purchasing to make sure it's the right size for your needs. If the measurements work for your situation, I think you'll be very pleased with the quality.

I have a builder that uses exterior doors and insists on having door stoppers. I’ve tried several kinds and cannot get them to work well. This is small but solid and allows for a firm install. Once you drill your hole, for me Into concrete, you set your screw into place and then you screw the top cap in place. It completely hides the hardware and finishes the installation cleanly.

After closing our deck, we realized that if the wind caught the door, it would destroy our television. This was the perfect solution. It is very sturdy. The insulation was not difficult at all and it seems to be very well made. It would probably break the door before it moves.😂 not to mention you it looks nice. We are very pleased. I highly recommend this product and would order it again.

Easy to install looks great

Heavy duty but I wouldn’t know if it works or not. They didn’t include the hardware. So now I either need to go to the store and find screws that will work or return the stopper. Very lame quality control.
